i am truly filled with awe and pride that someone so young could offer selfless effort to try to help the most vulnerable and critically important members of society - the poorest children- and give them a glimmer of a chance in life by introducing them to the idea of education as a tool to escape the slums. But what's most important and touching is the caring and attention you're showing these people. You Efren are what this world needs. May your tribe increase a thousandfold.

Efren, I am so proud of you for doing the right thing and making the sacrifice to help others. I have never been to the Philippines but I have a connection to the country since my daughter in law is from Cavite/Bacor area. My son lived in Baugio for 2 years. I wish you the best and hope to continue to follow your story and help in whatever way I can.
